This is the central reference for B2B buyers — perfumers, distributors, ritual-goods retailers, and private-label brands — who want to source authentic single-origin Guanzhu Kyara directly from the workshop. It explains the four product lines, the four MOQ tiers, the four region-specific logistics options, the CITES documentation, the customs clearance for each major destination country, the workflow from first inquiry to first shipment, and the most common pitfalls. Use it as a reference when you are evaluating FOREZA or any other agarwood supplier.
TL;DR
- MOQ from 5 kg for chips / slices / granules. 20 pieces for bracelet / bead customization.
- Direct factory supply from Guanzhu, China — no trading companies, no broker markup.
- CITES export documentation included with every international shipment.
- Markets served: GCC, North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia / New Zealand.
- Lead time: 4–8 weeks for first production run, 2–4 weeks for repeat orders.
- 24-hour inquiry response on business days, with sample shipment as the recommended first step.
Single-Origin
Guanzhu Town, Dianbai District, Maoming City, Guangdong, China — the historical "Capital of Chinese Agarwood." Every FOREZA piece is traceable to this origin.
Not Vietnam. Not Indonesia. Not Hainan. 100% authentic Guanzhu agarwood.
In This Guide
1. Why Source Direct from a Workshop
Most agarwood sold online — including from resellers who use words like "premium" and "authentic" — is sourced from one of two places: a Hong Kong trading company that buys from the workshop, or a Dubai-based re-exporter that buys from the Hong Kong trader. By the time the wood reaches a customer, it has been handled by 2–4 intermediaries, marked up at each step, and may have been re-graded or blended with lower-grade material.
Buying direct from FOREZA changes three things:
- You see the actual lot. Every quote is accompanied by sample photographs of the wood you would receive, not a generic product photo.
- The certificate is signed by the person who graded the wood. No "imported by" middleman. The Master Grader in Guanzhu signs every certificate.
- The price reflects the wood, not the chain. Factory-direct pricing is typically 25–40% below the same grade sold through a Hong Kong or Dubai trading company.
For the deeper B2B workflow and the comparison with trading-company supply, see How to Import Agarwood from China: A B2B Buyer's Guide.
2. The 4 Product Lines
Four product lines, all single-origin, all hand-graded, all from the same Guanzhu workshop.
| Product Line | Description | MOQ |
|---|---|---|
| Agarwood Chips / Slices / Granules | Raw wood in three physical forms. Sinking-grade, Semi-Sinking, and standard grades available. | 5 kg |
| Bracelets & Beads (Hand-Made) | Hand-polished Kynam bracelets. Standard sizes 6mm / 8mm / 10mm / 12mm; custom sizes on request. | 20 pieces per size |
| Custom Cuts & Sizing | Custom chip size, slice thickness, or granule grade. | 10 kg |
| Private Label / OEM | White-label packaging under your brand, with optional co-branded Certificate of Authenticity. | By quote |
3. MOQ & Pricing Tiers
Our pricing is structured into four quantity tiers, with deeper discounts at higher volumes. All prices are factory-direct, EXW Guanzhu; freight, insurance, and import duties are quoted separately.
| Quantity Tier | Chips / Slices / Granules | Bracelets / Beads (per piece) | Custom Cuts / OEM |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 · Entry (5–20 kg or 20–100 pieces) | By quote | By quote | N/A |
| Tier 2 · Standard (20–100 kg or 100–500 pieces) | By quote (10–15% below Tier 1) | By quote (10–15% below Tier 1) | By quote |
| Tier 3 · Bulk (100–500 kg or 500–2,000 pieces) | By quote (20–30% below Tier 1) | By quote (20–30% below Tier 1) | By quote |
| Tier 4 · Container (500 kg+ or 2,000+ pieces) | By quote (30–40% below Tier 1) | By quote (30–40% below Tier 1) | By quote (OEM eligible) |
All quotes are written, valid for 14 days, and accompanied by a sample photo of the actual lot you would receive. Use the inquiry form at /pages/wholesale-b2b or email zhangxiaobao217@gmail.com for a current quote.
4. CITES & Compliance
FOREZA holds a valid CITES export permit from the People's Republic of China, issued by the State Administration of Forestry and Grassland. The permit is renewed annually and covers all agarwood shipments from our workshop in Guanzhu Town.
What the Permit Includes
- Permit number (printed on the certificate accompanying each shipment)
- Exporter of record (FOREZA / Guanzhu workshop details)
- Species (Aquilaria sinensis, source code "C" for cultivated)
- Description of goods (chips / slices / granules / beads / raw material)
- Quantity (weight in kg)
- Country of origin (People's Republic of China)
- Date of issuance and validity period
For the full compliance story, including country-by-country import rules for the US, EU, UK, GCC, and SEA, see Sourcing & CITES Ethics and CITES Permit & Agarwood Import Guide.

8. The B2B Workflow (5 Steps)
From first inquiry to first shipment, typical timeline is 2–4 weeks for sample approval, 4–8 weeks for first production run.
Step 1: Inquiry
Submit the B2B inquiry form at /pages/wholesale-b2b or email zhangxiaobao217@gmail.com with subject "Wholesale Inquiry." Include your company name, country, target SKUs, estimated quantity, and intended use (retail resale / distillation / private label).
Step 2: Quote & Sample Photo
Within 24 hours on business days, we will send a written quote valid for 14 days, accompanied by sample photographs of the actual lot you would receive. No fabricated pricing — every quote reflects wood we can ship within the lead time.
Step 3: Sample Shipment (Optional but Recommended)
For first-time partners, we strongly recommend a paid sample shipment of 100 g–500 g. Sample cost is credited against your first production order. This is the single best way to verify grade and aroma before committing to a larger quantity.
Step 4: Production Run & QC
Once you approve the sample, we schedule a production run. Each batch is graded, water-tested, and certified at our Guanzhu workshop. We will send you production photos and a video walkthrough before shipment.
Step 5: Shipment & Documentation
We ship from Hong Kong or Shenzhen free trade zone via your preferred carrier. Every shipment includes commercial invoice, packing list, CITES export permit, and Certificate of Authenticity per batch. Tracking is provided within 24 hours of dispatch.
9. 4 Trust Signals
Four signals that distinguish a direct factory supplier from a trading company. If your current supplier cannot produce all four, you are likely paying for a middleman.
| Signal | What FOREZA Provides |
|---|---|
| CITES Export Permit | Valid export documentation from the People's Republic of China. Aquilaria sinensis is CITES Appendix II. See Sourcing & CITES Ethics. |
| Single-Origin Traceability | Every certificate states "Guanzhu Town, Maoming, China" — a specific town, not a region. We do not blend batches from multiple sources. |
| On-Site Workshop Access | Verified B2B partners may visit the Guanzhu workshop by appointment. See Our Story for the workshop overview. |
| Hand-Signed Certificate per Batch | Every B2B shipment includes a certificate of authenticity signed by our Master Grader. See Certificate of Authenticity. |
10. 5 Common B2B Pitfalls
Pitfall 1: Sourcing from a Trading Company by Mistake
The single biggest mistake is paying workshop prices and getting trading-company quality. The fix: ask for the Master Grader's name on the certificate, and verify the address is a workshop, not a Hong Kong or Dubai office.
Pitfall 2: Skipping the Sample
Buyers in a hurry sometimes skip the sample and place a production order directly. The result is often a 10–20% grade mismatch. The fix: always order a paid sample. The 2 weeks of sample lead time will save you 6 months of inventory headaches.
Pitfall 3: Misreading the CITES Requirements
The most common customs issue is incomplete CITES paperwork, which can hold a shipment for weeks. The fix: request a copy of the export permit before shipment, and have your customs broker pre-validate it.
Pitfall 4: Choosing the Wrong Logistics Mode
For a first shipment under 50 kg, air freight via DHL / FedEx / UPS is usually the best choice. For shipments over 100 kg, ocean freight becomes more economical but adds 3–4 weeks of transit.
Pitfall 5: Failing to Lock Pricing in Writing
Agarwood prices move with each significant harvest, each major sale, and each shift in Gulf or Asian demand. A verbal quote is not a contract. Insist on a written quote valid for at least 14 days. See Agarwood Price per Gram in 2026 for the current market.
11. FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
5 kg for chips / slices / granules. 20 pieces per size for bracelets / beads. Custom work has higher MOQs (typically 10–100 pieces depending on the request).
What is the typical lead time for the first order?
2–4 weeks for sample approval, plus 4–8 weeks for first production run. Repeat orders typically ship within 2–4 weeks.
Do you ship directly to my country, or do I need a freight forwarder?
Both options are available. For shipments under 50 kg to North America, Europe, or the GCC, we recommend direct air freight via DHL / FedEx / UPS — fast, trackable, door-to-door. For larger shipments, your freight forwarder may be more economical.
Do you provide private label / OEM services?
Yes, with a minimum 12-month commitment for OEM pricing. Email zhangxiaobao217@gmail.com with subject "Private Label Inquiry" for details.
Can I visit the workshop in Guanzhu?
Verified B2B partners may visit by appointment. Submit a B2B inquiry at /pages/wholesale-b2b to schedule. We do not currently offer retail customer visits, but the workshop tour is documented in photographs at Inside Our Agarwood Factory.
