🔬 What "Sinking Grade" Means
When resin content reaches ≥40% and density >1.00 g/cm³, the material sinks immediately in water. This proves extremely high oil content and premium quality – the ultimate benchmark for collectors.
Kyara (also known as Kinam or Qi-Nan) is the rarest and most precious grade of agarwood. Revered as the "scent of the gods", it forms after centuries of natural infection and aging. Unlike ordinary agarwood, Kyara has a soft, waxy texture and delivers an incredibly complex aroma – cool camphor, sweet honey, floral notes, and a lingering creamy or medicinal base.
When resin content reaches ≥40% and density >1.00 g/cm³, the material sinks immediately in water. This proves extremely high oil content and premium quality – the ultimate benchmark for collectors.
A unique multi-layer experience: starts with icy coolness, then fruity and honeyed sweetness, finally creamy/medicinal depth. Unmatched longevity and projection – truly the king of incense woods.
Authentic irregular chunks of Kyara resinwood, kept in their original state. Perfect for those who enjoy cutting or grinding their own material. Each piece reveals beautiful resin veins. Ideal for electric incense heaters, charcoal burning, or making your own blends.

Only the highest-resin Kyara passes the sink-in-water test. These dense, black-oil chunks feel soft and waxy to the touch. When heated, the aroma explosion is breathtaking – cool, sweet, and deeply complex. Extremely rare, perfect for connoisseurs and special ceremonies.

Pre-cut uniform slices about 1-2mm thick. Simply place on your electric incense burner or mica plate – no extra prep needed. Heating is consistent, releasing the full scent profile smoothly. Perfect for beginners and daily enjoyment.

Small particles (approx. 2-5mm) that maximise surface area for instant fragrance diffusion. Ideal when you need quick, powerful scent – just a tiny amount fills the room. Also great for blending with other herbs or using in incense stamps.

| Pouch 3 · Standard | Agarwood chips | 1 g | Light, clean, gentle |
Single-Origin
Guanzhu Town, Dianbai District, Maoming City, Guangdong, China — the historical "Capital of Chinese Agarwood." Every FOREZA piece is traceable to this origin.
Not Vietnam. Not Indonesia. Not Hainan. 100% authentic Guanzhu agarwood.
Each pouch contains enough wood for 3–5 home tests. Recommended sequence for a first session.
Hold each pouch under natural daylight. Look for:
You should see a clear visual difference between the three grades. The Sinking-grade pouch will show the most resin density, the Semi-Sinking will show moderate density, and the standard chips will show the lightest surface.
Drop a small piece from each pouch into a clear glass of room-temperature water. Observe the result over 30 seconds:
See Sinking-Grade Agarwood Test for the full method.
Heat a small piece from each pouch on an electric agarwood heater at 80–120 °C (never direct flame). Observe the aroma over 10 minutes:
See How to Tell if Agarwood Is Real for the full test sequence.
Once you have run the tests and decided which grade you prefer, the next step is a full-size order. Three options, depending on your intended use.
